Cold air Intake

I just have one question, when installing a CAI wont it be too close to the headers and take heat from them? Im also not sure if to go with the Injen CAI or Ram air.

I've never seen an intake for the 240SX that put the filter anywhere near the exhaust.

Place Racing's CAI goes over to the exhaust side. I guess in order to have room for the filter.

They all cross over the front of the engine bay like the stock piece and usually place the filter right where the stock airbox was, on the exhaust side... but nowhere near the exhaust.

i was thinking that the cold air extension takes the air filter down towards the headers.
