Missing a quarter off my quarter.
Long story short i was yung and retarded and cut my quarter a quarter inch to accomodate ghetto rigged ebay coil height on oem suspension.
Now my taste has matured and i realized how royaly i fucked up bc stock body is the best body imo. Wwyd? I had one person tell me they would have to redo the whole fender for 2grand. Lol! I was thinking about possibly welding it up or something? Idk. Body work is not my strong suit. My friend does paint and detailing so not worried about that. just curious as to getting it look decent again. And the other side is untouched. Cut the other side? Be a 1/4in lower on one side than the other? Lmao.

He's right though. The only two options are either overfenders, or replace the quarter panel (or section one) completely. Trying to patch something on it would just end up looking janky in the end.

Why in the world would you pay 2k to fix body work on a Schassis and what if the work ends up being jank? A lot of times replaced quarters will rust from the inside because of improper welding and prep. You're far better of just spending some time to find a clean car and then swapping all the parts over. Then you can sell your aids infested chassis to the next fuckboi.

Why is replacing a quarter panel so scary to everyone? It's really not that big of a deal. If the rest of the chasis is clean it's 100% worth it. Finding a clean car/shell is nearly impossible...

First off, way to go ruining your quarter panel you dipshit For real though, replace the quarter panel. The "pro body guy" suggesting a re-shell is an idiot, unless the chassis is fucked elsewhere. I hate when people say that shit, "just get a new shell," like wtf are we talking about? You mean ditch the car you own, it will end up being crushed, and then find a new car?! Easier said than done. I'm certified in collision repair and have worked in the industry, replacing a qp isn't THAT big of a deal, good luck dude |

Thanks for all the responses zilvia fam. ^
I might just clean it up and deal with it for a little while i figure out what to do. My rails are fucked and my tower is fucked aswell. Might just wait to hit a wall and than change it or put overs on. I got some origin takakdishi w.e. They called lol Just afraid they wont look that clean with the aero i might go with

yeah with the sticker dapper, you should just sell it and get a VW or ford focus....
but to answer yo question, just go rear overs dude....just be like every other broke dick 240 bro and buy ebay 30mm rear overs and your good to go. if your doing aero rear overs will work. |

This explains everything. Only nice thing about Monticello is the motor club.
You can't just weld that shit up and expect it to look like factory. Options listed in order of practicality. 1) New shell 2) Full panel over fender replacement. A pro can mold them on to look close to factory. That's even too much work than its worth. 3) ZG style fender flares. Not a subtle as a full panel over fender, but probably easier to work with if you're not familiar with fiberglass work. 4) Section in a new rear arch from a parts car 5) Full OE metal QP replacement.

Wait. Why in the hell would you cut your quarter panels like that to accommodate for shit coilovers? It makes no sense, at ALL.
If your frame rails are as fucked as you say they are, then put your big boy pants on and slap some overfenders on it. Its a 20+ year old nissan, who gives a shit.
