SR Alternator Pivot Bolt

Pivot bolt fell out the other day, was wondering what/if the KA pivot bolt will work or another interchanable bolt i could throw in there.

only way to find out is to try. But I recommend sizing up the bolts and try each others threading patterns out before doing it in the engine bay first. Good Luck

I wouldn't suggest it, when I broke one a couple years back and kept breaking, I went to the dealer and bought all they had in stock (granted, that was only 3, 2 of which broke) and haven't had to get another since.

this should be simple...

Go find another bolt(maybe the upper alt bolt) that threads into the whole where you need the bolt.

WHen you find one that threads into it, take it to the hardware or automotive store and get a GRADE 8 bolt(totally overkill) of the proper length.... thats all you have to do....thats what i did with my ka, and it worked well.

If the bolt is a lil to long, just use washers....its cake.
