spl tension rods/nismo power brace or what?

I recently snapped a east bear tension rod, and want a replacement...

I'm leaning towards the spl tension rods, and a nismo powerbrace.

Are there ANY better suggestions/recomendations????

thanks!

The spl products are superb and the powerbrace is great. They shouldn't break. But no car part can over come bad driving.

Did anyone notice that they are made of ALLUMINUM versus many other brands that are made of steel????

Is it not a concern, or what???

Not a concern.

I am currently running SPL v2 tension rods with a Nismo Power Brace and enjoy the combination. SPL uses good rod ends with their tension rods and the Power Brace is darn good stiffening for the money.

hmm. just seems like making them outa steel like the other companies woulda been a better idea.... but i guess they know more about it than i do....

SO where did you / would you recomend getting those parts?

I was thinking courtesynissanparts for the nismo brace, and maybe just strait to spl for the rods.... but theres gotta be a cheaper place.....or is there?

You get the spl tension rods from splparts.com Same with the nismo tension rod brace. As for toughness... Well, they are one of the beefiest I've ever seen. They look alot better and stronger than kazama and such imo.
