Sounds like its not firing on all four pull plugs and check spark replace wires if necessary, also look for fouled plugs

i had the same problem with a coupe i bought. I seriously had to floor it when i brought it home, and i was still going slow. I switched maf's it did nothing. It bogged like crazy. I did'nt even bother just swapped a lower milege ka in there.

check your fuel injectors, usually it's either spark/fuel
-bad o rings possibly
sounds like you're fuel injectors are leaking, when mine leaked it sounded like a wrx and sounded like it was running on 3 cylinders

if ur injectors are plugged.. which is possible.. all youd have to do is run by the junk yards and pull a few.... or... actually taking them to a denso injector service shop, thats roughly 20 bucks a piece for service... if ur leaking fuel youd obviously know... the smell of gas and the puddle of it in ur engine bay... which is very dangerous... check compression... then follow up on ur injectors..

the way i checked my fuel leak was by unbolting the fuel rail, lifted it up, put the car on the acc position so fuel can be pumped, then looked at all 4 injectors, no1 was leaking horribly. just fyi, but i'm not sure if they squirt/spray or what not, wasn't really paying attention if it did or not
