Unhappy calling all sr guru's, weird engine problem

alright guys. i had a freak incident the other day and i have yet to figure out what it did to my engine. i've been having some cooling issues with my sr because of my fmic. so i made some cooling panels and went to take it out for a test run. the temps were pretty good so i a WOT run. i ran through second gear and tried to shift into third. at that point the rpm shot up past redline and started banging off the rev limiter. i immediatley pulled off the road and shut the engine off. it ended up being a big rubber hose stuck in my throttle body . (probably fell down the intercooler pipe from when i was taking apart the intake manifold. i'd like to blame some evil gremlin for throwing that shit in there but it's most likely my carelessness.) anyways. i drove it home and it wouldn't boost. so i figured the turbo was blown. check ti at home and the rod for the wastegat actuator had popped off the wategate. well i reset the ecu and stuck another ring on the rod to hold it back on. i haven't driven the car yet but i started it up and it idles alot rougher than before. what do you guys think?

i checked the ecu, it's not throwing any codes. i checked all the vacuum lines and intercooler pipes for leaks or being popped off. i doubt the rocker arms floated from their spots since i have RAS. i haven't checked timing but i doubt this incident would have made the timing skip. the 5 main sensors that would cause the ecu to put itself into fail safe mode are all hooked up. i'm going to compression test it in a couple hours for a bent valve (but i don't hear any valve tap). please help.
