Silvia Triple projector Fog light problem

I searched and wired up my headlgihts just like the diagram showed. However, when i push the stock headlight pivot switch to turn on the foglights the foglights only stay on for like 30 seconds. Then i have to push the button off and then on again for the lights to come on again. Could someone explain how i could fix this problem, or how i screwed up?

Sounds like you hit the wrong wire. Which colour did you tap for the fog bulb?

by cutting the brown wire it will allow you to do the cheap sleepy eye mod. maybe if u cut that wire it will keep the power flowing and keep the fogs on. hope that helps a lil.

No, do not cut the brown wire. You need that wire. Read this thread below.

The brown wire gives you power whenever the retractor switch is engaged, or whenever the headlamps are on. What you could do is pull relay #4 and you will operate the foglamps with the retractor switch exclusively. You can also pull #3, #2, and #1 as well. Check out the link for info.
