my car won't start. HELP!!

I have a stock 1992 Fastback

I was installing a stereo today and it sparked while cutting a wire. I have forgotten which wire it was. Anyways, after putting the wires back together, I tried starting the car. But nothing happend, there was no response. I've checked all the fuses and found that the reverse light fuse was burnt out. I have replaced it hoping that it was the problem, but it wasn't. Now the car, when I turn the key, nothing happens. There's power, but no response from anything. Please advice ASAP.
Thanks in advance.

It is a manuel. I have checked all the fuses and they all seem fine.

I know this will be a pain, but unhook the stereo. If it is'nt the fuses ect. then you may have somthing shorted out, Or wired wrong. That maybe killing your ignition. Good luck
