Best case, check the low pressure line from the resevour, It may have blown off. You could have blown the high pressire line, Most likely you did'nt blow the pump(guessing) It can go bad, even loose a seal, but I havent heard of one rupsuring, Ect. Can you pinpoint the leak? Clean the oil off, and check where it is leaking from, then we can figure out what the problem is!! Good luck!

for real!! clean it up really good get all the excess fluids cleaned up, then a leak will most likely start to form, around the area of crackage.

the leak is coming from the top of the pump. that big bolt that is ontop is leaking pretty badly, can this be fixed by tightening it?

there are 2 copper crush washers on that banjo bolt. One between the head of the bolt and the fitting on the line, the other between the fitting and the pump. It sounds to me like one of these is either missing or that bolt may need to tightened up. It is also possible that there is a leak in the line close to the pump. That particular line is the high pressure line. You will have to clean it up, add more power steering fluid( i believe in the 240's it is actually auto transmission fluid) *wear safety glasses* Start the vehicle and inspect the fitting and line. It is under a lot of pressure so you should notice exactly where it is leaking from. If you don't notice it right away have some one turn the wheels side to side. Once you fix the problem. Add power steering fluid. Lift the car and turn the wheels slowly full lock to full lock. Do this until all the air is out of the system.
