chances of a RHD s13 in texas

i know here in cali it is next to impossible to get a RHD anything here, does anyone know if it is possible to make it happen in texas? the reason i ask is because i got a relative in texas so i could use them to register the car and insure it.

I have to agree - left hand unprotected turns would be come dangerous as shit, then the whole drivethrough issue, and the extra attention from the cops. Then again I guess if you are willing to do that for some JDM bling shit... uhhh

Why? If you're dying for RHD S13, convert it from a USDM s13.

get a USDM subaru outback wagon (US Mail)... shit is so "JDM" out of the factory.

What's the point of having RHD in the States? so you could look "cool"... you know that also means the possibility of your car gets broken into / stolen is higher?

I also know someone with a full rhd conversion in socal. Just convert a usdm car if you want it. I thought about buying an actual s14 silvia from japan for my track car. The RHD isnt the reason nor would it bother me but I can get one for reasonably priced so I get the chassis and sr20 already in the car for cheaper than buying a usdm and swapping.

If you get a rhd car at least get something exotic. Meaning if you can buy the equilavent in the USDM, do not get it. Get something like a r32/r33/r34 or a s15. I know it will make it more "hot" but a rhd s13 is already is.

theres a fried chicken chain here in baton rouge, and a couple of the locations have drive thru on both sides of the building

this is the only thing i can think of where having a rhd car would be badass. no one is ever in the line on the left side of the building..instant chicken dinner motherfucker.

everything else about having a rhd car you can get lhd here is about as cool as hammer pants. the only and i mean ONLY people that would appreciate a lhd s13/s14 are socially challenged 17-25 year olds who like anime, ebay, and are members of at least 100 different message boards.

Yup, he's obviously a cool guy.
I mean he gets attention. Right...

I could put the flamming corpse of tony bennet on my car like a prize elk, all the while bumping 2pac while I wear a pink tutu. That would get me attention, and probably even money offered to me, but would that make me cool?

Hey MtxWRL get what you want for you are the one who will drive it and love it.As for everyone of you haters having a RHD does get you attention just like have a loud exhaust or god forbid neon under glow.I got my car for the simple fact that it was cheaper then any other s chassis it came with a blacktop non-vvt sr20det,cusco bolt in roll cage and strut bars,HKS frontmount,Tein HE's,very rare sprint hart wheels,Blitz turbo timer and hks boost control. The car has zero rust and 29,000km yes all this for 9500 hundy so if you want a rhd conv. or a real deal JDM car why not ...should you spend 3500 on a usdm then 3000+ for the motor then 2000+ for paint 1500 for a kit 2000 for wheels and tires 1200 for suspension.any way winning an argument on the internet is VICTORY OVER HORSESHIT.

Even if you get a 180sx or whatever you will might still have to spend 2000+ for paint, 1500 for a kit, 2000 for wheels and tires, 1200 for suspension. Because it not like the 180sx with aftermarket stuff. The only thing you get is the motor already dropped in and RHD.

You're right. RHD is a waste of time. Unless you're a mailman. We aren't being narrow minded, we're being realistic.

waste of time to you is a dream car to someone else, it comes down to this IF you had the money to buy a RHD JDM car you would.IF you had the money to do a RHD conversion you would.just like if you had money for a sr20det you would buy it right? right.Haters come in all shape's and size's some hate black people, some hate those that can afford something that they can't and some people hate just because they have some sort of power on some website forum and thats all they will ever have.
