I dunno if I posted this, but if I did, then I lost it, and have to post again.
Anyway...
I bought a tial 35mm wastegate via ebay. From some seller who is the owner of tuneablecompacts, and doesn't list wastegates on his site??
Anyway, I mentioned that I needed a .3bar spring at most. I waited a week, didn't get it, waited another week and he said tial was finishing the wastegates, and they would drop ship the gate. And 2 days later, the gate was at my door.
And on the box, there is no sticker from tuneablecompacts, just tial stickers all over.
And a sticker with a serial number written by hand, and a line: "Spring: .45 bar" written in hand, in pen. But then in a different pen, .45 was scribbled out, and a .30 was scribbled over it. And even the packing invoice says "Wastegate 35mm .3bar (4.35 psi)" on it. And the guy that I bought it from said it would have a .45 bar spring in it.
I just don't know who to believe. And if it is .3 bar, why is it so hard to push.
I intend on installing my turbo in 2 weeks, and I just don't want a 6.5 psi spring on my stock fueled car and have to drive around at 2500 rpms for 2 weeks till another paycheck.
So... someone give me some advice.
-Jeff

Well, I don't know much about Tial wastegates, but I know that HKS uses a coloring system for their wastegate springs. Dependant upon what color you have designates the spring pressure. If you can get ahold of Tial, I would give them a call.

Well... I called tial and they said that they sell all pressures of springs, and .3 bar is the lowest! Then they said that the spring in mine was a .3 bar.... so I am really happy.
And the only reason I'm posting this... is so others know that tial sells low pressure springs! Saved me $40 over another spring, too.

Hey man... I'll build the motor up... just loan me the $2500 for internals and fuel. LOL! No. I have to run 4 psi right now cuz my car is stock. And my car is broken, so priorities first. I got hit by a car in a parking lot, a hit-and-run, and my insurance won't touch it. Thats $3000 I have to save and spend before college starts. So I figured if I got the turbo on my car, did a manual swap, and fixed the cosmetic damage before I go to school, I'd have a fast(er) manual, nice looking car to show up in Tampa with. And build the motor as I get the $$$.

No. You're wrong. (Sorry, you said correct you)
Sure, it can be done, but I am talking about everyday dependability here. 270cc injectors, threoretically, according to somebody's math will max at 5.xpsi. I don't even want to go there.
