I parked my '92 240sx by the sidewalk on a steep street near my apt. because the manager closed out our parking lot because they are fixing it. Anyway these two guys come knocking on my door asking if that was my car I go outside and look and my 240 got hit on the rear by a ford focus. My bumper was still good some scratches and alignment is a little off but no dents. The ford had a big dent on its rear bumper because the owner did not put the car in first gear so their car rolled down the hill. The cops as usual took forever to come. I guess its pretty cool that this happened because now I get some free money woohoo.

i don't really enjoy the fact that the 240 has a strong bumper. that extra layer of styrofoam inside it stopped me from getting a $4000 "pain & suffering" check and got me a $2100 "pain & suffering" check instead.

my 98 S14 got hit twice, first time was hit by a 18 wheeler from behind, some scratches and alignment a little bit off, the cop came and said it's my fault. however I still won the case and got some money from "pain and suffering" and my bumper. I used that money for something else.

a few weeks ago I got hit again by a suburban from behind, the impact was hard enough to push my car at least 5 feet forward, and i had an headache. the bumper had just some scratches and the side popped a little bit. the cop said thats under 5mph of impact. yea right fvck the cops. i'm still in pain and suffering now, soon will get the money and gonna dump it to my SR.

well, i got rear ended a while back... the dude that hit me, lost his whole front... it was unreal how much damage his car had... my bumper just had a small scratch and the panel underneath my taillights has about a 6 inch dent.... nothing compared to his... 240's yeah, they're pretty tough.
