so you didnt touch any sensors at all?, your vacuum lines are all attached, sounds like the maf of course but you say its good, so i donno, check all your lines though. I assume you removed the maf to clear room to remove the turbo, you sure its got a good connection, jiggle it or something.

i still bet its the maf. your engine will still rev past 2500-3k if you have a boost leak, hell you can drive with a boost leak it will just be sluggish. its your maf or ecu. try power cycling your ecu, pull the neg off the battery for awhile. since you say the mafs is gravy but it seems that the mafs hates you

Mafs should have been disconnected, rapped in soft cloth, then place in box with peanuts, then locked in a safe, then the combination should have been swallowed by your girlfriends sister.

Oh yeah!, I agree MAFs problem

woo hooo.. aight i got it fixed.. i remember back then.... when i spliced in the soch harness to the sr harness for the MAFS, i was in a hurry and didnt solder it, i just wrapped it in tape.. so thats that. i had called a buddy to grab me a mafs from his garage,... meanwhile i decided to double check the harness make sure it cousher... as i unwrapped the tape there it was,.... all three wires, were hugging... i guess the tape got loose and when i flopped the mafs over the radiator to do wat i had to do earlier... the wires pulled out a bit, and that was it... but guess thanks alot i appreciate it....
