i've got some problems. to say the least. i wanted to put a new fuel system in my 89 240. so i bought an msd fuel pump. i put it in right after the fuel filter. i also got some injectors off an '89 300zx. it took some slight modification to the injectors but i got them in. i put every thing back together and it wouldn't start. the starter turns it over but there is no fuel getting through the injectors. so i thought well the z injectors are probebly not compatible with the ecu so i put the stock ones back in. still nothing. could there be an order that they have to be put back in? i have preasure in the fuel lines up to the regulator. i know that there was gas in the fuel rail, i checked. i primed the system with the pump before i tried starting the engine. could i have ruined the preasure regulator by putting to much preasure infront of it?? there is no preasure on the return line, but i figured that that might be normal. could you guys please help me out. if you need any more information on this problem just let me know. i,m on pretty frequently.

thanks

Pull one of the injector plugs and check to see if it is getting grounded by the ECU when you crank it. Also it should get 12v when the key is in the on position.
