cluster/AC lights (s14)

i've searched to no avail, so i decided to see if anyone knows whats up....

last night i was cleaning my car, and the gauge cluster/HVAC lights worked fine.......then i was underhood, cleaning the motor a bit, and i came back in and now nothing works, just the little green light on the HVAC controls, and all the warning light and clock on the cluster........

i checked the fuses, wiring is sound, and i dont think ALL those bulbs just decided to go at the exact same time....

so, what do you think?

check fuses and fusible links obviously.

maybe check the underhood relays to make sure there is no water in them somehow.

u move any wires at all or push aside to get u hand in anything? make sure somethign didnt short out or cause more power to get directed to those or they could have all blown but its doubtful, being all the fuses and wiring for the gauge lighting is inside, minus the main 100watt fuse and stuff on the fuse block but if those are ok then you should be fine.

oh yeah check the dimmer switch maybe it got bumped down?
