Anyone have Recaro A8s

Like title says. I have teh opportunity to get a pair of brand new Recaro A8s for a dencent price and was wondering if they would fit into a 95 240? I'm coming from the euro side of cars so I know more about vw, bmw, and mbs, bit not much as far as nissans. i've search and haven't found anything on them. Thanks

Post up some pics. If they have rails that fit into a 240sx, a seat is a seat and can fit anywhere. Is this a full bucket? If so, those will fit in anything, as long as a bracket exists or you cna make one...

i had one, but never put it in my car...where'd you find a pair? theyre uber rare now a days...my friend and i went in on a pair and he has his in mis mark iv golf...the shoulder bolsters tend to be pretty big on this seat and his clears by a little bit...so i couldnt tell you for sure if itll fit or not...but like previously mentioned, there are always ways around that...

yeah they're my dream seats. I found a pair through another forum site. They're black leather with black alcantara centers. The back of the seats are painted silver tho... i'm just so torn bc I don't know if they'll fit and they're super expensive. I don't want to drop $3-4k on seats that wont fit into my car. But they're super rare and I've been searching for a pair for almost 4 years.

you can still find them on ebay.de
actually theres a guy that "frequently" sells the A8 seats by the name of Neils
The problem you will have with those seats is that the shoulder bolster might run into your door panel. Also there isnt a decent rail to fit Recaros reclineables other than Bride MO rails for reclineables. Recaro of Japan rails: good luck. NEVER go with Wedge rails, sits higher than stock! The A8's are pretty nice, but nothing beats Bride Brix I as far as reclineables go. Recaro hip/leg bolsters are suck

Thanks for the info, that what I was looking for!!! So Bride rails will work? I guess I'll have to start looking for those. I've talked to neils and he's not actively looking for A8s anymore. Also he sold them for around $3800 shipped to the US. I found a pair for $2800 shipped. Also I'm looking for more of astetics and I think the recaros look nicer then the brides imo

$2800 for a pair of reclienable Recaros for aesthetics reason is a total waste of money imo, but whatever its your money. There are dimensions of Bride MO rails on their website. check that out and compare it to the dimensions of the Recaro A8. again, check into the shoulder bolsters since the A8's have teh fiberglass back that wraps around the bolsters as well. Brix I bolsters already dig into the door and i can imagine clearance issues with the A8's

Well I just got my pair!!! They fit so nicely!!! I'm a fairly bigger guy, 200lb, 5'10", and they fit and feel nice. They work so much better for daily driving. Bride seats are just too narrow for me. I just have to find a way to put them in and reupholster them.

I found a non matching pair for $1900. One is a type 2 and the other is a type 1, which is ok. I can say they're asymetrical and one is designed as a drivers and the other is a passenger seat lol.
