why are people so pressed?

Ok so I'm out on the road today and pull into a shopping center. BEAR IN MIND I HAVEN'T DRIVEN MY 240 IN ALMOST 9 MONTHS!! and this guy I vaguely know walks up to me and says what's up. I've talked to him once or twice back when I had my 240 on the road. and he knew a bit about cars too. not a ricer in the least. we get on the subject of cars and he asks me if I still have my 240sx. not pressed about it or nothing, just chit-chatting. out of nowhere this kid sitting at a table near where we are talking goes "Man you have a 240?!?! thats cool. I am saving up for one so I can put a skyline motor in it and go drift" So I go "oh skyline motor, cool. not too many of those running around" (sarcastically I might add) and he goes "yeah its a direct swap but its so expensive and hard to get nobody does it, especially the R34" I reply "damn dude. that will be cool as shit. I bet that will drift pretty damn well too" to which he replies "yeah its the perfect car for drifting. thats why anybody who knows anything about drifting drifts a 240sx" so I go "cool man, well I gotta run. see ya later" and he goes "yeah maybe I'll see you drifting at the next drift event. do you know when one is" I go "nah sorry dude"
WHY ARE DAMN KIDS SO PRESSED ON 240'S??????????? ME AND THE DUDE JSUT WALKED AWAY LAUGHING AT THE POOR GUY. I REALLY WANTED TO JUST PUT HIM IN HIS PLACE BUT WASN'T IN THE MOOD. ANYBODY ELSE HAD SIMILAR SITUATIONS?
