SPL/KTS coilover setups

I was wondering how many people were running these coilovers and how they rated them compared to past experiences. Also if you are running them with the z32 rears i would most def. want your opinion thnx

They're great for what they are: entry-level SA enthusiast coilovers. They lack development, like 99% of coilovers sold for the S-chassis.

Will they be fine for your application? More likely than not, yes. Are they fine for a highly modified car aiming for maximum cornering velocity? No.

What would your choice of coilovers be with a budget of about $1,500?

I'm still waiting for the pricing on the Peak Performance DA coilovers to be announced. With any luck it should be around $1750-2000 for the race version. There is no other coilover out there I would consider.

By the way, right now I'm running KTS coilovers. 29k hard street miles, ~520 track miles, two parking lot drift events since September 2004. The improper valving was apparent once I started gripping the car in the mountains; on the track it wasn't so apparent since my first event was a drift event. The more I gripped, the more I griped. The left front is damn near blown now. Overall, though, I'm pretty happy with their performance for the money... nothing like blowing stock Evos into the weeds with $1040 coilovers.
