Best Polyurathane Bushings?
I've done research, but I am trying to find out who makes the most complete polyurthane bushing kit for an S13.
RS*R? Energy Suspension? Whiteline? |

It depends, Energy has a "master kit", but I believe SPL has the Nismo bushings which is just harder rubber. I would go with either one of these if you don't want to go heim joint. Courtesy also carries some, and I think they even have the steering rack polys. Not sure on s13, but I do know I got them for my s14 so I'd imagine that they have them.

Energy kit includes all the pivot/flex stuff covered, RSR I think has some of the mounting (rack bushings?)
If you're upgrading to pillowball stuff, you might want to go in with a buddy as you'll not be using half of the set ![]() That said, I have Energy in both my S chassis, along with various pillowball arms and/or Whiteline eccentrics... Get the Master Kit, great bang for the buck... |

I have a few Whiteline bushings here and there. When I installed them in My TC rods some of my steering wheel vibration went away at higher speeds. Polyurethane is polyurethane. I think that Energy has the most complete set, although if you don't have a rear sway bar you will have those bushings left over. I also believe that its cheaper to purchase the master set than to piece the kit together.

i know for a fact the energy suspension tension rod bushings are different.
they are 3 piece with 2 rubber outers and 1 polyurethane core. the old 1 piece polyurethane would crack tension rods and destroy front LCAs, so keep that in mind when you're looking at bushings from other brands. |

I just finished pressing my rear subframe joints in today, they are energy suspension. Worst shit I have EVER had to deal with. and Hope ot never deal with this shit again. still have to put it in so i dont know how it will feel but im sure it will be nice. I almost bought the RsR kit but decided just to just go ES rear kit.

I just installed the complete ES Master Kit on my S13 coupe and its awesome, I got teh kit with the new 3 piece T/C rod bushings everything turned out good! I also used the sub-frame insert with my already CUSCO subframe collars just as extra reinforcement for the area that is blank in the stock sub-frame bushing all it did was just tighten the feel up even more, 3 thumbs up from me...well worth it.

I didn't think any poly subframe kits(ACTUAL BUSHINGS) were made for s14 or 13's... Am i wrong?
I know some used the 300zx subframe bushings, but they are taller...no? oh yeah....to you guys who installed the tc rod bushings...You might want to do some research...i heard/read that those are big no no's. |
