I did my old car w/ a heat gun and scraper as well, it was hell. I used a little gas to clean up the little bits.. dry ice seems to be the way to go

just lay it on, let that mess harden so its easier to separate

the center sections on the floor of the car are cake

the part on the wheel wells are pretty glued on there

The easiest and most common way to get the sound dentening out, save a lot of weight. All of that adds up to about 55-60 lbs. Good luck with that.

dry ice it and make sure to spread it every where. Then get a hammer and go at it, it comes out in nice little chunks. After that to get the rest wire brush it, seam weld it, and paint it! Done.. I make it sounds so easy, I've been doing this shit for like 3 months.. Shesh.
