Ok using the left knob out of the steering colum when i turn it on the light on the clock goes out instead of the rest of the cluster lighting up. also, my ac lights and my hazard and other pop up switch and defroster lights turn off. I checked all the fuses under the dash and everything looked fine unless I missed some hairline crack?

sombody stole my CD player a week ago and instead of unplugging the harness they cut it. so the wires were exposed but not really cuz it was clean cut. but i covered up them all and it still does it so could my cluster be fried or somthing? I really need help cuz its really annoying having to shine my cell phone at it and constantly looking down to make sure.

could be ur TCU (timing control unit). usually if u have exposed wires and they touch, especially the wires in the deck, they will short out the tcu. im guesssin this is a s13 so its on the driver side kick panel next to the fuses. Pull it out and open the white box and check for any shortages
