Rotary Valves?

Just wanted to bring this up, I didnt see anything else about this on the forum, wanted to bring it to everyone's attention. This is a sick concept, no valve limitations pretty much.

Thanks for the link I've never seen/heard of that before. I geuss if it was a better/more feasible design you would see it ran more often

Thanks for the positive rep points to whomever did that. Ive made a couple of bad posts in the past and apparently offended a shit load of people and got nailed with the negative rep points.

No more witty comebacks in text, guess they just dont share the same sense of humor.

Thier initial retrofit performance kit was in the early 90s on the ford 5.0 EFI used in the mustangs...heads were roughly double the cost of highend performance heads...also I am unsure as to it's viablity with forced induction or seal maintainance.

Production costs even on a mass scale would not decrease you have fewer parts but those parts require FAR tighter tolerances and more precision machining therfore costing much more per piece to manufacture. If this was such a great idea auto manufacturers would have gone after it by now...given that there have been funcioning prototypes around for over ten years now

I actually think there was a post on here about this right when I signed up for zilvia and I am still pretty sure it is not a worthwhile design

and to whom ever gave me a neg point for my earlier comment eat me...

OK first and foremost i would like to thank the dj dude for raising this thread... those valves are gangster, but this is zilvia home of the low ballers most here wouldnt see a point to this. Hell if i had the money i'd do it just cus its different. to all those who asked why he posted this STFU you see a lot of people into cars are into new technology and how stuff works. its a cool idea i dont know how practical but definitely shows how endless the possibilities are

With a name like TougeSR20kid and a whopping 49 posts it is VERY obvious you are all about being different

And its not new technology this is ten years old
