sad day in hell for me

so lets say i drifted into a sidewalk

and now my front tire has positive camber and toe. what is broken tie rods? is that the first thing to give way and bend, also when i turn the steering wheel its harder to turn one way than the other. i took the bent rim off and looked at the tie rod it looks a little bent but not rly fucked up , and everything else is ok nothing looks bent, should i just get some tein tie rods and see if that will fix it or is it someting worse plz help and feel free to flame away (btw it was raining)

these are my stock wheels i had laying around i took of the messed up wheels, but yea if u look carefully u see the wheel has an odd angle and when u turn the steering wheel it spins like 1.5 turns and then slows but does the right turn super quick. weird feeling.

Looks like tierod damage, not saying the tierod will put you back to factory specs though!
what did you really hit?
And how did you hit it and get no body damage? CURB and turning left?

Got pics of the rim?

This is what I did and where I bought it from, when I did the exact thing.

Your Front Lower Control Arm is bent for sure.
http://www.pdm-racing.com/products/pdmcontrolarms.html

Your Tie Rod is bent, (Just losen the nut closest to the wheel and then unscrew it out a bit to even it up) (for now)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-T...spagenameZWDVW

You might have broke a TC rod or bent it .. I broke mine ..

TEIN tie rods are good for the price, as are the pillowball TC rods, id go for those, and im sure someone has an extra LCA laying around. I also have a stock Tension rod if you want it, say, $20 shipped if you dont feel like paying $200 for pillowball tension rods. pm me if you want it.

well lookling at the way the wheel is at now the damage could have been even worse, but hey atleast now you can have beefier suspension arms for the front now and be alot more carefull now when you drive.

Gah, now nubs are starting to kill s14's.

People who fail at life continue to drift on the streets, then they come back the next day complaining about how their car doesn't feel right or how cops suck and they are being profiled.

Mmm.

Now that I think about it, I am wrong. You should fix your passenger side lower control arm, then practice drifting on your local touge. Since florida is full of them. But wait untill it's storming. You'll feel like you have a rb under your hood. Then fly off a cliff and die.

Why do I say that? Because it's people like you who are drifting on the streets, and even worse driving drunk that gives males under 30 an even harder time to drive the car they love, who drive safely. They can't even drive to the TRACK where you are allowed to drift/grip, because of nubs making us all look bad.
I'm sick of people like you that come back asking how to fix your fuck ups.

i rly apreciate the help im going to get a lca and tie rods, as to the address the flaiming. i was not trying to drift on the streets. i have a rear wheel drive car and it had been raining also downtown miami streets suck ass. But i am not asking anyone to feel sorry for me it was my own mistake and now im paying for it. As for fucking up the drift scene....what drift scene i live in miami we have one oval track in homestead and a nice track like 100 miles away up north... so the only thing i rly fucked up was my own car. and yes i did understeer and hit the sidewalk it was low enough and i came in at the right angle so i got no body damage. ill post up my rim dmg. and again thanks for the help.

Yes there is a drift scene in Miami (www.sfldrifters.com). There may not be touges, but there are tracks and practice spots. I recommend getting good tires for wet/dry traction and even so, always drive careful in the rain and on the streets.

Nubs are NOW messing up s14's? Dumb people mess up whatever they get their hands on. It's not like 100% of S14 drivers were picture perfect members of society before this guy. This kind of sounds like you're just stroking your ego.

I dunno Zar it kind of sounds like you're over reacting to this. The guy asked for NO sympathy, only a recommendation on what might be damaged (although, a noob question to ask for sure.). He admitted what he did was dumb, and I'm sure he learned his lesson by having a fucked up S14 now. I doubt trying to start a flame war about whatever the harsh injustices his minor accident have caused you may be, will solve anything.

Just trying to keep the peace ! ^_^

wow! That's a broken/bent tie rod bolt! Never thought I'd see that.
As already mentioned, if you're gonna upgrade get SPL rods and ends. Much beefier than Tein.
BTW do you have a vlsd in that thing? I used to skid a lot in the rain with my first 240 without one.

I was going to add a 'why did the angrychicken crossed the road..?' joke here but I think you've been through enough already.

Good luck.

You know, lets hope there isnt any structural damage. We have had cars come in from the same exact thing you did, and the insurance company salvaged it because of frame damage. Once you figure what the problem is, I suggest you stop drifting on the streets. Its not cool...in fact its idiotic. I dont mind noobs asking technical questions but seriously, when I read a post like this... I think, you got what you deserved. I am just happy that no one was walking on the sidewalk that you hit.

you should have crashed and burst into flames you prick. the hell you doin' idiotic shit for. its exactly like how street racing kilss innocent people. like the incident involving an rx-7 i think colliding with a student driver car, injuring the teacher and student. luckily the racer died, because idiots who do shit like that need to recieve the harshest consequences possible. take the car to a fucking shop that deals with drifting or a collision center, have it fixed, then sit on your ass and save up to afford 'real' track time. this isn't japan where everyone has the mentality to not do stupid shit in high traffic areas. don't complain about having a rwd car and driving in the rain, how else do 'vettes, 'stangs, gto's, m3s, FDs, FCs and many other rwd cars survive in the rain. you drive cautiously. next time and all the time, drive fucking cautious you prick unless your on the track *venting*
