bad turbo!

my ebay turbo (sr t25) has bad seals
should i salvage the turbo and buy a rebuild kit (is it difficult and worth the trouble?)
or should i go out and get a working turbo from somewhere local?

honostly if it doesnt have much shaft play u could always do it yourself, just mark everything in relation to eachother when disassembling and it shouldnt be too hard, also contact the seller and if he knew then get a refund especially if it wasnt mentioned in the auction
