speed sensor came today, but NO WIRING

I got my S14 5 speed, speed sensor today, but it DID NOT come with any type of wiring harness attached. Can I just use the wiring harness that is attached to my auto sensor, or would that not work.

I am going to call the guy I got it from tomorrow and give him a piece of my mind. I SPECIFICALLY said that I need the sensor and the wiring and he said "no problem. Now it comes today and all I get is the sensor WTF.

BTW, I plan on swapping an S14 SR20 over the winter if that helps.

You're joking right? The VSS has a plug on it, your car has the harness. Why would you need any wiring?

You don't say what chassis you have but if it's an S14, the new VSS plugs right in. If it's an S13, you bought a useless part and should have kept your S13 VSS.

It's going in an S14 chassis, and by the harness I mean the wiring that goes from the sensor to the main harness. Not the entire harness, I obviously already have that with the car.

Exactly. That wiring already exists in the car unless someone completely removed and discarded the lower harness. Auto/5spd uses the same wiring.
