DE & DET rods the same???
i read in one post here ..someone said that the sr20de and the sr20det rods are the same...i just want some one to verify and check up on this....i need these rods asap and i cant find them anywhere..but if they are the same as the DE then i will have a better chance of gettin them..and i dont want to buy used so.....anyone help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the de rods can work with the det motor but the difference is that the de rod is smaller in width by about 3mm with the micrometer. its recomended that if u have plans of big power upgrades that u do not use de rods because they are not forged and are not as beefy as the det rods so they will give way. it is ur call and depends on ur application. the length is obviously the same because the displacement is the same. and post back why u are changing the rod or rods, let me know what was damaged and why. for i am in the process of replacing my rods because my bearing spun and scarred the rod
