all i/c pipes are tight.there is a little shaft play, but the blades are not toching the sides..I took the bov "off"..still same thing.let of the gas a shshshs sound.and hitting boost is i can hear the same sound, just not as fast..the only thing i can think of that would make the boost gauge bounce and the car buck and make bad sounds like that all at one is one of 2 things wastegate spring(internal)or that there is to much impeller shaftplay...any one had there boost gauge bounce and why?

Why did you take you BOV off? A little bit of shaft play is normal, so long as its not really bad the turbo sounds fine.
You could take the wastegate off and have a look, just to be sure its working right, but I don't think that is your problem.
Sounds to me like you have a leak someplace. I would take off every IC pipe coupler and inspect each one for tears, then re-install.

to make shure the bov is not working. it made no difrence in sound or performance however this bucking and surging boost gauge is new.im running 6 psi on 20g turbo, its 3 months old???no oil in turbo housings, andthe turbo is getting oil.but the sound the turbo makes when buckin and surging is scary, like the pshshsh surg i get from letting off the thottle...but as im boostin???its internaly w/gated and the arm does move?..does this sound like a leak in the i/c??..never had one.

Ok I have been driving it around.it only does it when I just start to hit boost and if i hold it rite at like 0-1psi, it will buck and shake,if I slowly give it more gas it will buck and the a/f and boost gauge jump up and down and it gets worse as i hit it.but only slowly. If I stab it it moves and makes boost fine....anyone?
