Ok my stock fan in my s13 took a big shit. Yep a big one. Anyway i need to install a electric fan since I cannot seem to locate a stock one anywhere around me. Electrics are not my expertise. I have remove the stock aux electric fan. is that strictly for the AC? Ok i have the power and the ground wire from the new fan....how and where am I hooking them up? Also i do not want to run this as a manual converson...I am not big on the switch idea due to the fact I live in the hot ass south. Help please....

just FYI: although it might be saving money, your stock clutch fan and shroud are more efficient than electric fan.

Did you already purchase an electric fan? Your local dealer should be able to get you an OEM clutch fan no problem. If not I can ship one out to you.

if you cant get it all hooked up and working the right way. make sure you use heavy gauge wire and wire it up something like this. dont run + current to a cheep switch. it will melt.

why do you want the fan on a switch? i think thans a bad idea, all it takes is you not looking at the (un reliable ) stock temp guage for 5 minutes and your over heated. just go to a parts store and pay the $40-$60 it cost for a E fan switch set up, it comes with wires also.

buy this

The derale unit is way better than the permacool piece and costs less to boot

follow instructions on back of package and you are finished

also DO NOT wire it the way Bay_area suggested you are begging for an electrical fire NEVER HOOK UP ANYTHING WITHOUT A RELAY!!!

If you have any other questions you are welcome to PM me
