HKS VPC air intake temp sensor SR20det

I got myself a new toy to play with. HKS VPC. I was wondering if the SR has an intake air temp sensor, or is it part of the MAF. I saw a guy at the formula D event in Wall, he drilled and tapped his cold pipe. I dont think that its too safe to tap thin piping like that especially with 18-20psi. Is there a better place to put it????I dont even know what size this thing is. i looks smaller then a 1/8npt. Also the stupid greddy manifold, did any on you use the vaccum ports on the bottom cause that aint a 1/8npt fitting. I heard people tap them and still use a 1/8. In order to do the whole cold pipe ordeal, the pipe is aluminum but i dont know if the sensor is. I know the Greddy EGT is a 1/8 nut and the sensor goes inside the nut. Is possible to do the same for the AIT. Is there a 1/8 npt finnitng that i can screw into the manifold and then just screw the sensor into that???? I am lost.
