1995 black zenki turbo
Hi, Ive got a 1995 black 240sx w/ 115500 miles. I am the 3rd owner and have only put about 14000miles on the car, and only about 2000 miles since it has been turbo. Its a KA24DE-T that runs VERY strongly, has good compression and has never pre-ignited or detonated once. The idle is absolutely PERFECT at 900rpm, the rpms never hunt or dip. The wastegate is open dump so its kinda loud but when the turbo spools, it pulls harder and harder to redline. When not in boost its actually still faster than a stock 240 because of the tune. The max boost ever run on the motor was about 8-9psi
The only problems that i can find with the car are the blinkers dont work (im sure its the flasher but im really lazy) Also, the body isnt in the best shape. for the most part its ok but there are a few dings and scratches here and there. Im selling the car because Im about to go to college and I need something a little more practical and versitile (like and xterra). As much as I would love to keep it, I just cant afford the time and money anymore. The left front fender is in the process of being proffesionaly replaced and painted (some lady backed into it).
Also, I fixed the MAF problem! ive never taken it to the track but my buddy had an sr w/ 268whp...and mine was definitely faster than his especially on the highway.
If i had to guess at about 9lbs its making 270-280whp.....Ive ridden in a few setups and to me it pulls harder than you think it should. |
