300ZX TT Diff into S13??

Is it possible to put a 300zx diff in ur s13. If so has anyone done it, and could u feel a change in gearing.

yes you can put it in an s13 but it will make your car slower cause of the gear ratio if its from a z32 turbo.. use the non turbo cause its got a closer gear ratio to the s13.

To expand on that, because that post above was horribly non informative, the TT unit is an R230V, it's wider than the R200 units and will require cutting/welding of the subframe to fit. You'll also need to use S13/S14 VLSD output shafts since the Z32's flanges are longer and will not mate to the Schassis axles.

In other words, not worth the effort. The Q45 used an R200V during it's production run, but it's not definite what years it was available, it came with a 3.54:1 final drive and would be close to the TT's 3.69:1.

You can use the Z32 NA but I believe it uses 5 lug pattern axles and then you need to source JDM 180SX 5 lug axles or purchase VLSD 6 lug pattern input shaft...I doubt like everyone says that the J30 5 lug pattern axles will work for an S13 if thats what chassis you have...
