The 3 main choices seem to be:
- B&M - people that have these swear by them, they shorten the throw quite a bit and are very high quality - Pilot/OBX - These things break in half, but are fixable with glue... there are 2 generations, apparently the newer ones are not as good as the older ones. They are considerably cheaper than the B&M - Nismo - The nismo shifter is also very high quality, but doesn't significantly reduce throw (unless there is another version I'm not aware of). B&M has my vote, but it costs twice as much as a Pilot or OBX shifter, so it really depends on you, what you're looking for in a shifter. Hope that helps <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=' ![]() |

Short shifters for nissans are for SURE not cheap. You'll end up paying a pretty penny for a decent one. The OBX one is just CRAP, the Nismo one isn't really a "short" shifter...and the B&M one is just flat out EXPENSIVE. so...I dunno about you, but it doesn't really sound like any of these shifters are worth it. Stick with your stock one and you should be good to go.

you guys forget about the C's short shifter. although it is as much if not more than the B&M.
Also, the OBX has been re-designed and is much stronger than it used to be. I have one of the new ones. Although I recommend getting it through PDM if you do get it, b/c Don adds a bunch of stuff in with it, that it should come with but doesn't. OBX is a fuckin shit company, but the new shifter ain't bad. Also remember the B&M makes quite a bit of noise b/c of it being a solid shifter. Edit - The C's is probably the Best all around shifter you can buy for the 240.
