I am having some trouble with my '96 240 and hope someone may have some answers. About a week or so ago, some screeching noises were coming from under the hood when I had the a/c on. No big deal, I figured it was the fan belt. It has been making the noise on and off since. This morning on my way to work I heard noises that sounded something like between something hitting the fan and electical shorting (loud). I could not do anything about it since I was going to work. This evening I have found that I am leaking oil and my a/c does not work at all. What the heck is going on?! Can anyone help?

did you notice any throttle problems associated with it?

my compressor siezed up, and it's screwin with everything

that and it's a 400-700 dollar part

I have not noticed any throttle trouble at all.
