Ok so i have a couple of spots of rust on my fastback hatch and under that flimsy foam p.o.s. spoiler, the rest of the body is clean, so when i take it to the shop i figure i will kill two birds with one stone since when they fix the rust they are repainting any how. The Wangan wing on J-spec.com is $320 used and shipped, and the bomex wing type UAD-248 is $275 new not shipped(i am pretty sure) and they are both kinda the same style of wing. Wangan, I have seen better pictures of it, it looks better and you're better off dealing with JSpec than Bomex who doesnt give a rats ass about any of thier customers (Keep in mind I have never dealt with them, its just that most big companies are like that).

hey 240dori, the one from jspec and the one from bomex, UAD-248, r two different styles. the one that coastek240 posted, UAD-022, is the one that is similar to the jspec wing.

however the one that jspec is selling is a bit shorter than the bomex wing. if u even ask them, they will tell u that the bomex wing is longer by a few inches. i should kno, i just bought one of these wings a few months ago. that is, unless, they got in some more of the big 180 wing. they look very similar, but when u put it on the car, u can see the difference. personally, the longer wing looks nicer, from the side view. every other view looks the same, tho.

I think that one important thing to note which might influence your decision is installation. I'm not sure about the JSPEC wing, but BOMEX uses the FACTORY mounting holes (if you already have a spoiler).....No need to drill any more holes!!. You can see the Bomex spoiler mounted on my girlfriend's car here: Sil80Girlie's Car

She's thinkin bout getting the 180SX Type X wing instead, so that spoiler may be for sale.

i still think i like the shorter wangan better.  who makes that by the way?  i thought bomex did, its just a discontinued style, thus why they can only get them use?  anyone know?
