i have a ka24det and oil is coming out of the air intake. what should i check? i replaced the pvc valve. i adjusted my timing. im not sure what else to do

Do you have the tube going from your valve cover to your intake?
You might need a oil catch can.

somehow the terms blow by, crankcase pressure, catch can all come up...

Check your oil dipstick...Is there any way you over filled it??...if not you have some blowby or you are getting boost in you cranckcase...has you dipstick blown out latly??

The oil comes from the tube on the valve cover which allows air to exit. But because it is a overhead cam engine there is oil being thrown around in the valve cover so naturally oil goes down that breather tube which goes to the intake. So like said before, get a catch can.

thanks. yeah its coming out of the hose connected to the valve cover. it just recently started doing it and i wasnt sure how to fix it.
