Anyone on the list have any ideas on how to remove the pilot bushing from the backside of the engine without the "tool"? I have already tried the grease and punch method, but no dice. Anyone have any other techniques? Thank you very much in advance!

Had the same problem while doing the clutch on Eleanor. Go rent the tool from Autozone, or other parts store. Should only be 15 bucks deposit to borrow it for few hours. I couldn't make the dowel and grease option work either.
