TC SPORTLINE SUSPENSION ARMS??? any1 got em??

whats up guys, i tryed searching but can not come up with an answer to my question.

was wondering of anyone are currently using any of these. i know the old versions were total crap! but now they seemed to come out with new versions that have TEFLON ends.

Ive heard customer service at TC SPORTLINE is excellent, just wanna know if any1 has the teflon coated ones.

heres the description:

BRAND NEW TC SPORTLINE 95-98 240SX S14 REAR UPPER CONTROL ARMS (CAMBER ADJUSTABLE)

When the car has been lowered, the geometry of the suspension will change also. To change the suspension geometry back to the original setting, you will need to make adjustments to the control arms and links. Unfortunately, stock arms and links do not offer a great deal of adjustability as people usually run out of rooms to make more much needed adjustments. Aftermarket upgraded arms will give you more adjustability for positive or negative camber settings. And the teflon pillowball joint design will reduce flex and offer more precise suspension feedback and response.

they look better then megans but looks can be deceiving...

AGAIN im looking for people that own or had some what expierence with them, dont trash them unless you had bad expierence with them.

I had these on my S13 while I was waiting for some other arms to be imported. It worked out pretty good. No major problems, but the only thing I noticed was that the counter-nut (1 of 3 nuts on the adjustment portion) would sometimes back out from road vibration. I thought it was the alignment technician's fault at first, but after tightening it again, and driving around for a couple months, I checked it again and I could loosen that same nut with my hand and a little bit of force. It didnt change my alignment, but I thought that it was odd. I ran them for 6 months on the track and street.

Conclusion: If you are on a strict budget, its a pretty good deal. If you can afford a really hefty arm (Peak Performance, JIC Magic, Kazama, Ikeya Formula, etc) get it and be done with it.

hey, while i was researching for TC SPORTLINE, i came across somebody that had the same exact problem you had about the adjustment portion kept coming loose too,the guy actually sent them back to TC and was sent new replacement ones for free, maybe you can too. i think the guy said it was a manafactuer defect on the tension rods.

thx for the input though, you only had them on for 6 months? and while taking them off did you notice any rust?? and hows the material??

I was looking at a set when I was thinking about making control arms, and they seriously made me want to vomit. Not as bad as Megan though, so whatever.

yeah only 6 months, I was waiting for my Ikeya Formula arms, and I needed something to hold me over because I couldn't drive the car around (a few of the arms were bent.) But I didnt see any rust. The finishing was pretty nice, my car was still blingy after winter and tons of adjustments, no paint chips or nothing. I was kinda worried about how "thin" the arms were, but no problems for me.
