Unbolt the window from the regulator, remove the regulator from the door, unbolt the motor from it, and manually raise the glass. Then reattach the window. If the motor is jammed there's no way to get the window to move unless it's off the regulator.

R....you sure know how to make life difficult!!..hahahaha...

Ching...before you go thru all that hassle make SURE you're power window motor is DEAD!!. Test the power window motor by hooking up two wires to a 12 volt power supply, (car battery, etc.).Before you start, disconnect the wiring harness that runs directly to the power window motor. Hook one end of the wires to the positive post & the other to the negative post. Take the other end of the wires that are not hooked up to the 12 volt power supply & CAREFULLY apply those wires that go directly to your power window motor. If your power window motor works, the window will either go up or click as it tries to go down. If it clicks as it tries to go down, then reverse the wires & then power the motor till it raises the window up.

Now if R is right & your power window motor is dead, then you're screwed!! You'll have to follow R's direction to get your window up.

Anyhow, hope this helps...

I figured he had tried that already, but you make a good point to go through the electrical diagnostic, after all this is zilvia.

Let's back it up one more step. Since the OP didn't say if the passenger side window works or not, are you sure the window lock button isn't down?

You'd be surprised how many people hit that by accident.

Power window amps

Can someone tell me that maybe it is the Power window amplifier that is the
culprit instead of the Motor.

But where is it located. I opened the door cover and still unable to find
the culprit..

Please advise. thanks.
