The 7MGTE stock turbo is a CT26. These things are confusing as shit Are you sure it's not a CT26, I've honestly never heard of a CT25

I think CT26 also came on 3SGTE engines for the celica all trac and USDM MR2 Turbos as well.

This is also true, and I'm fairly sure he means a CT26, not a CT25.

it spools better then the t25 for a fact. but i know for sure that the ct12's can be tuned to 450 hp if you precisely tune your car. its been done on my buddies MK4. with the right tunning you can do alot with these turbos

The MR2/Alltrac CT26's are dual entry while the Supra is single entry. The ST165 All Trac CT26 has a bigger wastegate flapper and IIRC the exhaust AR is smaller, I do know the Supra compressor is bigger than the 3S-GTE compressor though; also IIRC the Supra/MR2 CT26's have different exhaust housings. The ceramic bladed CT26s do spool up faster however they limit the boost before blowing the fuck up and flying into your engine.

What year? I know the ST165 was a CT26... as well as the MK3. CT25 doesn't come up at all if you search on Supraforums.

I was under the impression that it was a running change.

But after further research, it looks like alot of people just ended up having typos.
