S13 SOHC Issue, weird!

ok, sometimes the car idles ok, sometimes it sputters at idle. Evertime I try to drive it, it sputters up until about 3 grand, or somewhere around there, and then the car breaks free and takes off like nothing is wrong. Any ideas???

I'm thinking maybe tps, fuel filter, maf maybe? When I un plug the maf the car acts extremely worse! I don't really know. Any help is appreciated.

here's an update, New coil, new spark plugs, I put a different tps on and it's all still the same. I'd say the odds of me having 2 bad TPS's are low. Gas flows through the fuel filter well, so I know it's not clogged. Clogged cat maybe? bad injector? Anyone have any ideas?

the only reason I would say it might be a maf issue is that around 3grand the maf actually functions. so you are getting about the opposite reaction that a bad maf normally causes. but this could help you get to your problem.

Check your AIV and make sure it isn't constantly blowing hot exhaust back through the intake. I had this problem and simply removed the AIV system, and all of my low rpm problems went away.

I put a different maf off of a working car on, same thing.

Things I've changed...

Maf
New Plugs
New Plug Wires
Cat is not clogged
New Rotor button
Water Remover additive in the gas tank
New Coil
02 Sensor

Anything else?

I tried checking the engine codes on the ECU, I came up with Intake air temp sensor, which has been disconnected for a while now due to the intake. Other was the 02 sensor. So I replaced the 02 sensor, still running like shit! HELP!!!

Sometimes the easiest thing to do it reset the ecu completely, I the Subaru I was able to just leave the battery unplugged for something like 10mins, I will ave to second the AIV as Neither of my 240's have thiers
