Alright I was driven yesterday and pull out of fifth and it felt like it just brought everything with it. Like it was pulling on something? I made it home Shut it off and started it back up. Well I started it uP In neutral and car is in neutral so I thought, but when i let off of the clutch it goes into reverse(while shifter stays in neutral when i put the car in any forward gear it just boggs and dies. Car drives fine in reverse and I have no direct drive nothing. Could this simple be fixed my just changing out bell housing w/ a ka tranny or do you guys think it it something else? Thanks

this does sound pretty serious , even if that plastic piece at the bottom of the shifter did disenegrade it woudl shift altho do check to make sure its there...all you need to do is remove the C snap ring and shfiter will pull out. there should be a plastic bushign snapped on to the end.

as far as changing the bellhousing with ka tranny i am actualy going to do/try that friday so hit me up and i will tell you how it goes.
