rear coilover bottomed out.

i have kts coilovers front and rear of my s13 coupe. lowered the rear more today, and the threaded sleeve is bottomed out in the bottom mount. i would like to go lower. has anyone ever cut the sleeve down. or is there another solution besides preload adjustment.

Your still now low enough with KTS? wow...well correct me if im wrong but the lowest you can safly go is to max out your bottom mount by rasing it. When lowering your collar from your spring is not good because you will have play on your springs unless you really want to. I thought KTS coilover go low?

Wrong, kts dont go very low, most people end up removing collars to go lower.

ugh.

you don't remove collars in the rear to go lower.

you run un-captive spring, I'm prolly gonna end up running about an inch and a half of spring droop to get to tucking the whole tire.

Fronts you'll be brain damage low if you pull collars.

yah the front are stacked on the collars.
i didnt really want to lower the spring perch because of the spring droop, like mcrussell said. oh well, thanks for the responses.
