s13 Heater hoses question

Can anyone tell me if my heater hoses are hooked up correctly? I'm trying to put my car together tonight, but I'm not sure which one goes at the top and which one goes on the bottom. This is how they went on the easiest, but for some reason it doesn't look right to me. This is an S13 by the way.
I did search, but didn't find anything useful, thanks for any help.

Well, if its on the non-hot water control valve side, then hot water can get into the heater core when I don't want it, and hot air will always be creeping out of the vent, that's why I'd like to hook them up correctly.

Well, I got the the hoses hooked up correctly, but I have another question.

Should the A/C/heat blower motor turn on when you turn the key to the On position, or does the car have to be running?
I really need to know.
Thanks.

no it doesnt have to be running. think about this buddy, where is the key set when the engine is on and your riding down the road? HINT ITS ON. hope that helps, btw those lines look like how mine are routed. but it sounds like you solved your problems with that.
