allignment?

Hey guys, I have a problem. My car seems to pull slightly to the left when I drive...I thought It was just a wheel allignment but when I took it too the garage he said my allighnment was fine. The thing is I replace the passenger side front tire a few days ago. I am not sure if that is what did it because I just bought the car and I replace the tire right away. Could it be the tire is too big or something of the sort. I checked and the tires are all the same size but maby the rubber is different, or maby to much are in it. I have no idea what the problem is. I stood behind the car and it was tilted. The mechanic said that my car looks like it was in an accident but he couldn't see where! he drove it too and noticed to the problem right away. he didn't know I replaced the tire tho. My car has a clean record, but he said they maby just didn't claim it. What do you guys think it is? the tire or my chassis or frame is bent. Its an all stock 1990 240sx coupe.

air is spelled AIR. and also I would think if you have more rubber on the right, then the car would turn left, which is what you have. measure the height if each tire. I assume you do infact have more rubber on one side, especially if this only happend right after replacing the tire. Go to a frame shop though and have someone look at it.

I'm think its just the tire. I've had the same problem when putting differnt tire/wheels up front.

Switch the new one to the left and the left one to the right... I'd bet you'll have the same problem but the other way.

Or your lower control arm bushing may be shot. But it sounds like the tire might be the answer.

press the bushing in yourself, not hard, not fun though. also there are people here with them for sale probably.

Why do I like this one, for 55 bux, you get a whole unit which includes new joint, and bushing, however the bushing is stock instead of upgraded. Probably wouldnt matter though. Its nice to have a new joint, and not have to press bushings.

just swap the fucking tires and see if it fixes it.... put the left on the right and right on the left just for a quick testdrive...(tread may be backwards but its just for a mile or two)

takes 10 minutes and you'll save us all time and yourself a headache.
