Code 82 -Crankshaft Position Sensor-

I need to get code 82 cleared.. The only problem is that I did a 5 speed swap and used a s13 tranny that did not have a crankshaft position sensor on the bell housing..

I do not want to swap bell housing with a s14 one..

Does any one know of a way to trick the ECU, so the check engine light will go off?

I need to clear this code so I can tune my car with the Greddy E-manage.

Any help?

Tuning won't be an issue with a code, why are you thinking it will be?
As for bypassing the sensor, you could plug one in and ziptie it to the block somewhere but it will trip again once it sees an erratic input.

im having a huge problem tuning with greddy e-manage..I call Greddy and they told me its because my check engine light is on and my ecu is going into safe mode so I cant tune it like that.. So thats the only reason I need the 82 cleared..

Greddy are idiots.

The CPS is a diagnostic sensor only and the ECU could care less about it. It's not in safe mode with it tripped, same with nearly 80% of the onboard sensors on the engine. The only codes you should worry about are MAF, ignition signal, cylinder misfire, O2, and rich/lean condition.

My Emanage was simple to tune with over 13 codes stored, all emissions related.

You thought wrong. Do some research and you'll answer all your questions, even the ones you're not thinking about yet.

If in fact that was your assumption, how does an S13 start? It doesn't have one.
