Quick ? about Clutch Master Cyclinder

There use to be a rubber gromet inside my master cyclinder. somehow i misplaced it. without this rubber piece can air get trapped inside the cyclinder, causing the slave cyclinder to fail over time?

Don't bother messing with the master. It will leak. Just replace it with a new OEM unit.

Also do yourself a favour and get a Taka Motorsports clutch line and bolt it straigth from the master to the slave. Bypass all the stock hardline, flexline, and damper.

I don't know which rubber piece you're talking about. Do you have a picture?

are you talking about the piece that the pushrod goes through? which helps seal the gap between engine bay and the inside of the car? i dont see why they would sell that little piece of rubber. just get a new one they arent expensive.

how on earth was a piece lost from the inside of the master cyinder? did you take it apart or something? it would be way easier to just buy a new one than worry about that little piece being lost somewhere.
