hi, thanks for reading.  My question is as follows-
what exactly should be swaped out with a performance part and what is not necessary to have better suspension.

Example: Swapping out the shocks and springs for performance is definitely something that is needed.

So is something like the control arm needed to be swapped out with a performance control arm to have ur suspension work even better.  Reason Im asking all this is because I really want to upgrade my suspension and will be doing it step by step and not all at one time and I dont want to buy something like a performance control arm when it wont do any better than if I went to a regualr auto store and bought the stock control arm.
thanks a lot for any info or advice I get.

well for suspension i would get stb's, springs/gc's, like you said shocks and struts, lower profile tires, 16's or 17's, sway bars are big for suspension yea and control arms.
