![]() I was wondering if I swapped in a RB20 into my S13 using tophat mounts and set the engine as low and far back as possible, wouldnt that effect the length of the driveshaft? It would need to be shortend right?
If the drive shaft needs to be shortend can a aluminum 1 piece shaft be shortend b/c thats what i have? Thanks Danny |

It should work with the stock driveshaft, I haven't heard of anyone needing a different shaft with the Top Hat mounts... Might wanna look on Nico, someone just posted some "disturbing" pictures of their TH mounts disintegrating -- before the motor was even installed/ran... GL

I have custom mounts on my rb20 and it required the use of a custom driveshaft, however I dont believe the tophats do.
