![]() If anyone has a picture of their relocated fender harness, please post it. I'm trying to get some ideas on what to do. Mine starts smoking when it gets wet, and it makes my turn signals stay on in the high mode, until I disconnect the battery. I've tried to do this-http://www.sillbeer.com/fenderharness.php, but my harness seems to be a lot stiffer than theirs, so I can't really move it up all the way, and then my fenders don't fit.
Any pictures and tips will be appreciated.

Thanks! So it doesn't have to be cut and soldered back together in order to relocate it? That's what I've been told until now, if it can just be unplugged, that's sweet.

I looked at the white plug on the driver side today, but it looks like the harness just splits at the plug and continues on, or are there more connectors? |

Start re-splicing those wires son!!
you can pull those connector pins out with some care. Then get some 18 guage and cut out the bad sections, and splice in some of the new wire. Looks like you caught it too late... ![]()

Ouch... Yeah, start splicing. Mke sure you solder them, if you don't know how, search google to learn how, there are PLENTY of tutorials out there on soldering. On the ones where the melted section isn't RIGHT AT the plug, you could also just splice a new section in, without having to get the pin out. Looks like some of the melting is at teh plug though, so you will probably have to take out at least 1 or 2 pins. Good luck!
