Questions for those who bought jdm zenki skirts w/o the hardware

How much of a pain is it to get jdm zenki skirts to fit properly and flush if the mounting hardware is not included. I see them for sale alot, but 9 time out of 10 I never see any brackets bolts screws or whatever included.

What did you guys do? And how good of a job did it do. Or is it better to just get them if they have brackets?

Thanks

use screws and double sided tape. Or try to fashion your own little clamps for the little trip lip on the bottom.
P.S. if your talking S13 then they are not Zenki side skirts there were no Zenki side skirts for S13 they are either chouki 180sx side skirts or s13 Silvia side skirts.

Nah talkin s14, sorry if my name threw you off. People usually think I'm talking about s13 cause of it, but I have s14 lol. Sorta had a change of plans and ended up buying s14 to make long story short.

Thanks for quick response

I just used 3 self tapping sheet metal screws and double sided sticky tape. There should be 2 metal brackets on the bottom of the skirt that rest up against the bottom of the car on the sides. I drilled a small pilot hole, then used the self tapping screws to hold them up tight. Don't over tighten them because they will strip. On the rear of the car I used on self tapping screw right next to the existing holes in the skirt, over far enough where it would be in the middle of the wheel well lip. Up front, I used the factory wheel well liner screws. The double sided (3M best stuff to use) was put on the top edges where it would be flush with the side of the car. Pull alittle bit of the tape off so that you can stick it to your car but, not so much that it'll be a bitch to get off for adjusting. Test fit, adjust, repeat as necessary until you get it where you need it. They look great once installed.
